Twin Cities Metro Youth Homelessness Services

Youth in Minneapolis and Saint Paul who are at-risk or experiencing homelessness can find non-judgmental support and assistance at LSS. We serve hundreds of youth every year in the Twin Cities metro area, and are committed to providing youth with the resources they need to launch into productive, healthy and independent lives.

COVID-19 Update

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS) is committed to the health and safety of the youth we serve, our employees and volunteers. Our leadership has developed a three-tiered COVID-19 response with specific activities based on recommendations from Minnesota Department of Health and CDC.

We are currently taking the following actions:

  • Implementing no contact from outside visitors at sites
  • Providing food/hygiene/housing supplies via a to-go or delivery approach
  • Providing care packages in scattered site housing
  • Isolating youth who show symptoms of COVID-19

If you are sleeping outside or in a place not fit for habitation, call 612-204-8200
