These steps might be uncomfortable but are necessary to receiving help from community agencies.
1) You have to first apply for emergency assistance
2) Once denied - you will call 651-291-0211 to get a list of agencies to apply for help
3) Majority of these communities agencies that help, You have to provide a Hennepin County denial letter from emergency assistance, and whatever other documents they require:
Usually the main the list of items needed for the agencies are( contact individual agencies for exactly what they need but most for sure need the list below :
1) Emergency assistance letter of denial
2) Energy Assistance Denial letter (EAP.ORG to apply
Both may be required (suggest applying for both)
2) Current Lease or Mortgage statement
3) Past 3 months or 2 months of income
4) bank statements or debit card online statements for past 2 or 3 months
4) Identity verifications
5) Bills that are past due
