What is RentHelpMN? 

This program was created to help Minnesota renters who are at risk of losing their housing due to the COVID-19 pandemic and reimburse property owners for missed rent payments. If you have fallen behind on your rent, we are here to help. Find out if you qualify and begin your application today.


RentHelpMN is Protection Against Eviction

If you are a renter facing eviction for non-payment of rent, a pending application for emergency rental assistance is a protection. Renters who receive an eviction notice must still respond and need to show up to court to show proof of their application. Staff from Minnesota Housing are present at court sessions to provide information to all parties. Learn more about the eviction process and how to protect yourself at homelinemn.org.
