Legal Services on Immigration Issues

We offer Immigration Legal Services for a nominal fee to help refugees, asylees and other immigrants living in the Twin Cities and St. Cloud complete immigration documents – including Permanent Resident, Naturalization, Employment Authorization, and family visa applications.

Due to Covid-19, LSS Refugee Services provides free consultation and screening services by appointment only. To make an appointment, please contact refugeeservices@lssmn.org.

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota and our staff representatives are accredited by the Department of Justice to provide legal advice and legal services on immigration issues.

Daily Outreach / The Basilica of Saint Mary St. Vincent de Paul Outreach Ministry is once again open for Minneapolis residents on: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30-11:30am in the lower level of the Basilica (first come, first served). Basilica of St. Mary Corner of Hennepin Ave. & 17th St. 612.317.3413 Vouchers given out Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 9:30-11AM. Must be Minneapolis resident.
